ACCESS | www.access-nl.org

ACCESS is a Dutch based not-for-profit foundation, which has been serving the international, expatriate community in the Netherlands for more than 30 years. Using the experience of volunteers, who are themselves expats or have been expats, to provide the services we offer makes us a unique organisation. While we serve the greater community, the volunteering opportunities we provide to newly arrived expats means we serve them as well, and help them settle effectively in the Netherlands. Over the years we estimate we have worked with over 3,000 volunteers, and currently have 150 from 44 different countries working with us.

The services we provide include: an on-call Counselling referral service, a Helpdesk, 13 FAQ Guides on topics ranging from how the Dutch Healthcare system works to Winter Driving, regular Childbirth Preparation courses, a printed Magazine as well as a website full of information about living in the Netherlands, and among the Dutch and, a pool of trainers offering services tailored to the international community. We are thrilled that FIGT is back in the Netherlands and could not miss the opportunity to be a part of their 2018 Conference.
