Moving is stressful—everyone knows that. Moving with children may add an extra layer of chaos but with anything difficult, it is important to break it into manageable sized chunks of work.
Before, during, and after your move with children, you will experience these phases multiple times in different ways:
- Unknown unknowns—You don't know what you don't know
- Known unknowns—You know what you don't know
- Known knowns—Things you know that you know
In this webinar you will be guided through the following:
- How to research and prepare for all of the unknowns
- What to expect before, during, and after your move with children
- Tips for time management
- Tools and resources for helping you and your children cope with cultural, language, and environmental changes
About the Facilitator
Lisa Ferland, MPH, is a writer, editor, and publisher about multicultural pregnancy, birth, and parenting abroad. Her background in public health piqued her interest in the cultural differences in global maternal and child health practices. Lisa helps other expat women tell their stories about the cultural challenges and discoveries they experience during pregnancy and childbirth in her anthology series, Knocked Up Abroad and Knocked Up Abroad Again.
