Jane has 20 plus years experience working in marketing and communications specialising in creative and not for profit organisations. Her passion is supporting organisations to tell great stories about the work they do to better communicate their mission and impact.
She has worked for a number of organisations during her career including the Milton Keynes Community Foundation, Awards for Young Musicians, Language Beyond Borders and the Arts Council of England. In roles where she led on marketing and communications including strategy, led fundraising campaigns and social media management. Her work also spans arts policy development, and grant management.
Volunteering has played a big role in her life. During the last decade she has trained as an intercultural dialogue facilitator and supported young people to talk together, and has taught English to refugees.
Moving from the UK to Mexico, a whole different phase of life happened. Jane founded a global community of women living outside their passport countries with menopause, became an ICELT qualified English Teacher, and started a business offering social media inspiration and management, and provides a range of administrative support services to busy MDs.
Jane first joined FIGT as a volunteer on their communications team, met a lot of very nice, smart people and decided to bring her community building and sponsorship skills to the table.
