Zdenka samson

Zdenka Samson is a certified intercultural communication trainer and global mobility consultant with more than two decades of international experience across Europe, North Africa, and the United States. Holding an M.A. in

International Relations from Charles University in Prague and fluent in several languages, she has worked in international business, education, and project management across government, non-profit, and commercial sectors. Having navigated multiple global relocations as part of a former U.S. diplomatic and military family, she brings deep empathy for the emotional, professional, and cultural complexities of such transitions. Her personal journey—shaped by life in six countries and dual Czech–U.S. citizenship—underpins her commitment to helping individuals and families adapt, connect, and thrive across cultures.

Through her consultancy, Samson Worldwide, LLC, Zdenka provides intercultural

communication training and global mobility support that strengthen cultural

awareness, fosters intercultural competence and empowers individuals, their

families and teams to navigate cultural differences effectively and with

confidence. She straddles her two homes, Prague and Chicago, and is a proud

Mom of three young multilingual ”global citizens.” She enjoys gardening, traveling

and exploring the outdoors with her family.

She is passionate about FIGT’s mission of building bridges across cultures,

advancing the understanding of the globally mobile experience and looks forward

to supporting FIGT’s diverse, global community.
