About the Facilitator
Olga Mecking is a writer and translator. Originally from Poland, she has lived in Germany, Canada, and now the Netherlands where she lives with her German husband and three children. Olga is the author of the blog, The European Mama and her writing has appeared on the Washington Post, New York Magazine, The Atlantic CityLab, and others. Olga particularly enjoys writing about her expat experiences for mainstream publications, whether it’s national news sites, women’s magazines or travel publications. When not writing or thinking about writing, Olga can be found reading, drinking tea, and reading some more.
