Tanya Crossman is the Director of Research and International Education at
TCK Training, a leading provider of preventive care for TCKs, ATCKs,
and their caregivers worldwide. Tanya has 18 years' experience in the
field of cross-cultural family care (largely in China and Cambodia),
including 10 years' research experience. She is the author of
Misunderstood: The Impact of Growing Up Overseas in the 21st Century
(2016) and co-author of Thongs or Flip-Flops? Australian kids overseas
and what comes next (2024). Tanya provides new research insights which
underpin all areas of TCK Training's work (she was lead author on three
white papers, 2022-2023) as well as working with international schools,
community groups, and families worldwide, with a focus on the
Asia-Pacific region. Tanya is an Australian Adult TCK from a corporate
family.
