Maryam Afnan Ahmad

Maryam Afnan is an interculturalist, trainer, teacher and writer. She is also the Executive Secretary of the FIGT Board, and currently also managing the Communications Committee. She is co-author and co-illustrator of the children's story and workbook: Slurping Soup and Other Confusions with a group of intercultural mothers. Slurping Soup has been helping children in transition, counsellors and educationists for over ten years. Maryam is currently working on her first book for her series on Un-othering and also planning her podcasts and research.
