Space Between Breaths

Carolyn Parse Rizzo

A globally mobile life brings unique challenges. Our stress response can hijack our ‘best self’ in a matter of seconds. When this happens, it can be difficult to be open, reach out, and build rapport with our surroundings. Embracing and bridging differences begins with awareness, and cultivating awareness begins at home, in the body, with the breath. This session will provide a “breather”, a simple way to feel more relaxed and present for the wonders of this global gathering and beyond. Together, we’ll create a little space by exploring a variety of breathing and mindfulness techniques designed to center, ground, relax and energize. There will also be a separate ‘Space Between Breaths’ room available on Saturday and Sunday, at all times, where you can come to rest your mind and body in quiet.
