One of the major attractions of the Annual FIGT Conference is the bookstore, brimming with expat-centric literature. The bookstore offers an excellent opportunity to browse and purchase some of the most respected works on cross-cultural and global living, as well as a chance to meet the authors themselves. Conference speakers and attendees who are published authors are invited to submit their books for inclusion in the 2020 FIGT Conference Bookstore. Authors who are not attending the conference may ask a friend to bring/collect their books on their behalf. Author book signings are scheduled for:
Authors pay FIGT a 25% commission for all items sold in the bookstore. Funds raised support the David C Pollock Scholarship. FIGT members receive a 10% savings on the author's stated book price. This discount is not additive and is taken from FIGT's commission. Pricing of all books will be in US Dollars and payment will be accepted by credit/debit card only. After the conference FIGT will email each author a Royalty Statement of books sold and the amount due to the author. Authors can then submit a Paypal invoice to FIGT or payment can be made by USD check, sent by mail. Other items that are related and of interest to the FIGT community (eg, CDs, DVDs, workbooks, jewelry) are also available for sale in the FIGT bookstore, subject to prior approval from FIGT. Please complete the online form below. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Keehn at bookstoremanager@figt.org. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm EST. |
